The Network Residency is completely virtual and supports Black artists who m/other at all levels in their careers. There is no age limit to join. There are no rules, no barriers to entry, no geographical constraints, and no expectations. Upon joining Sibyls Shrine, you immediately become part of our Network and a Sibyls Shrine Network Resident artist.

Network Residents are connected with opportunities, spaces and people that can help advance their career, practice and life. We act as a bridge to best connect Network Residents to resources, opportunities and institutions by learning and understanding the individual needs of each Sibyl, rather than assuming a one-size-fits-all methodology.

Network Resident artists are connected through an email newsletter, bi-monthly virtual skill share program, in-person convenings and events, and endless exhibition, teaching and learning opportunities. All Sibyls Shrine exhibitions, programs and events are curated from within our Network.

Network residents are supported with on-going opportunities for our own radical care, rest and support. Upon joining the Network, Sibyls are provided:

• unrestricted honorarium for leading a virtual skill share

• career development and readiness support

• access to arts and cultural institutions

• access to skill-share with industry professionals

• free classes and workshops

• exhibition and speaking opportunities

• support for self care

• childcare and other daily needs
